Snugness
Indenting her skin,
Compressing flesh
Into folds
Upon themselves
Turning her into something else, entirely
But once she learned
About truth, and realization
– Of self
That mask dropped;
And fell by the
Wayside
Lying — for now,
Long
Forgotten.
