Welcome to the NaNoWriMo2016 issue of Twisted Sister. For those that don’t know, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month – a time during which folks try to cram writing an entire novel into the thirty short days of November.

To accomplish this feat, you need to write about 1,666.66 words per day (or 50,000 words by the end of the month).

Which can be easy or hard, or both together; depending on how far ahead or behind, you, or your writing buddies are.

For those that are feeling behind on word counts; don’t worry, we like things short and to the point around here. (Ed Note – That’s unless Liz McAdams gets on board and inflates our word count.)

So, in the spirit of NaNoWriMo and all things short, and spiritual, we are pleased to showcase Rob Dominelli’s novella-length work Where The Spirits Take Them in full. (This includes Parts One, Two, Three, Four and Epilogue.) In case you missed it the first time ‘round, we have an excerpt of his Killer Beneath Me (from Along the 46th, published by Latitude 46 Publications).

A life-long resident of Northern Ontario, Rob Dominelli is one who was always keen on the written word, but, believing it wouldn’t amount to anything, he gave it up. Having spent much of the late nineties in a cycle of dependency and incarceration, he returned to writing again, creating silly stories to amuse other inmates. Fortunately for us, Rob continued writing after his release, and can be found at http://bobbydeeworld.blogspot.ca/

We hope you enjoy this feature.

XO,

Twisted Sister

In case you missed last week’s issue, we were really questioning what the heck’s in the water around here — shipwrecks, bathtubs, bad plumbing, and a hot shower were what was on tap. Be sure to check it out.

Now that NaNoWriMo2016’s half-way done (gulp!) think about sharing your weird and wonderful creations through excerpts or a series on Twisted Sister lit mag. Remember — We Want YOU!
